I think the"internet apostates" help to undermine the control of the JWs. It will help stop new recruits. It will boost the courage of all the JWs that are having doubts. They will have fewer contributions.
I think this is already happeing. Now as far as "bringing down" the organization totally. I don't know. There's always going to be small, high-control religious groups. But I think the JWs will become a lot smaller.
Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.
This scripture is an epic fail in my opinion. It is pretty tough to do if not impossible when speaking of family. Regardless of anything else, you are inextricably tied to people you have a blood relation with. Letting them go doesn't really happen. Maybe externally but never inside. Even if they have died, you are still tied to them.
Funny that the Bible tells people WHAT to do but not HOW to do it.
