I have first hand experience of the double standards that exist in the congregation.
The point i was making with this thread is that every congregation is different because of the personal preferences of influential elders and their interpretation of the counsel provided by the WTS. Their is too scope for interpretation because the counsel is deliberately vague. This produces a local level of control enforced by the local BOE.
WTwizard is saying that the BOE will reinforce the level of rigidity of parents or those conducting a BS when dealing with student or child, even if they feel that level of rigidity is unreasonable.
