My heart goes out to him and his family. For about 8 hours I thought my son would die. He was born prematurely at 6 months. He weighed only 3 pounds. The hospital I had him in was so backwards, they had to send him 35 miles away to Greenville, SC. They told me at his birth they didn't have much hope he'd make it. I never felt such total devastation in my entire life.
He ended up being in the hospital for 31 days. His lungs collapsed and he got pneumonia. Miraculously, he survived. He's 27 today. 6 foot and healthy as a horse!
I count myself so lucky he's here with me. You just never know....
