No earthquakes in "new world" = dead earth
We live on a living planet. The magnetic field is vital to the ability of Earth to retain its atmosphere and oceans in the face of the solar wind. The magnetic field is produced by the interior of the planet, produced by the convection of liquid iron in the outer core. That convection also results in volcanoes and plate tectonics. The latter produces earthquakes. "God" putting an end to earthquakes ultimately means no liquid iron in the core, no magnetic field, no atmosphere, no liquid water. New system earth = dead Mars. Yay!!
