SD brings up an interesting question, would Jesus be killed again?

If Jesus came as he did 2000 years ago, not as the "kick ass and take names" dude of Revelation, but as the "hippie" from the Gospels, what would people do?

Well, Sd may be right, he may be killed, heck they killed others with similar message, why not Jesus?

I would be more interested in what the organized religions of the world would do or say when Jesus would tell them they were WRONG and that THEY have kept people who wanted to be with Jesus, away because of their crap.

What would the Vatican do? what would the WT do? perhaps even more important, what would WE do?

Up until the late 30's the WTS did teach that only the anointed, spiritual Israelites, could be considered jws. They would say, Jehovah's witnesses and their companions. About 3 years after 1935, the GC were invited to the Memorial and that terminology started waning.

They long removed themselves from anything "Christian".

    Ok you're probably right.

    I would kill him.

Though glossed over by all christian religions, including the WT, Jesus was RADICAL, an iconoclast.

Forget the miracles; they didn't happen. Even Paul, a rabidly pro Jesus writer, never mentions them.

But, his ideas were threating to the existing religious order of the jews, and to the political reality of the Romans.

He certainly would be killed again, or imprisoned.

Does it explicitly state that the Jews were Jehovah's Witnesses in the Bible? Or are they taking Isaiah 43:10 out of context and claiming that it referred to the Jews before they rejected Jesus?

And, if it was taken away from the Jews for rejecting Jesus, why isn't it taken away from the witlesses today for rejecting Jesus?

Isn't this really just the ranting of one CO, rather than an official JW published point of view?

Hard to imagine even the anti-Jesus JW saying something this radical...

On the other hand, the guy did expose a big hole in their so-called "christian" theology and the choice of their name.
