Londo111 - Growth is at a standstill in many places. Most baptisms are children of JWs...and only a third of those remain who were raised JW. There are many former JWs...it would make sense to try to get some growth that they are not seeing from door to door.
I suppose...but this really smacks of desperation, if that were the reason.

Yep, what Morpheus said. This is why we all need to tastefully and respectfully start using social media to contact famous ex-JWs, like Luke Evans or Michelle Rodriguez.
High profile people can help educate the public about child sexual abuse. The public will deal with dubs in public places. As the real truth becomes publicized, dubs can't simply dismiss their friends and family leaving the ORG.
The R&F will have to become blatant liars, like the GB.

They have completely missed the REAL reasons most leave....because the teachings are false, and the org is deceptive!
