I would think there should be a link.
Resurrection of the dead is NOT the same as immortality of the soul!
And it is true that even now some people can be resurrected or brought back to life after they are clinically dead.
Wonder if that's what he means?

Patience may have its limits, but JW patience (as organization) seems limitless. They promised resurrection rigth... erm... tomorrow for more than 100 years now, and they're still waiting for it.
