    What I found most interesting, was how he said that Einstein came to solving many of his theories by asking himself how he would create the universe, if he were god.

    Hey DD, that's cool. I don't know if that is how he came up with his 3 very important theories since those where formed in the very earl part of his life when he was in his 20s.

    His most famous quote "God don't play dice with the universe" is explained alittle bit more here;

    I love that guy! I have his book "The Physics of the Impossible" and it is written in such a way that even an idiot like me can understand it.

    While I believe in a personal God, I don't believe in a genie (like many so called Christians). So I agree with, or sympathize with Einstein.

    I believe my prayers are answered by (or within) the laws of the universe, before time began, by God.

    This universe is still changing and so are the natural laws in it. Not to mention we know so little about our own little corner in our own Galaxy. To think we can figure it all out seems arrogant to me.

    For the record, Einstein was an atheist. That did not preclude him being a spiritual man, though. His use of "God" was always as a metaphor.

    In the above youtube, toward the end of it, kaku states that he believes in 2 gods, einstein's/the bible god, and another god, a god of symplicity. Basically, god #1 - the jewish god, god # 2 - beyond. He seems to concur w the gnostic view.
