A word of caution.......if him being a JW is the utmost.....make sure he is as devoted as you when confronted with WT history. You don't wanna get involved with someone who can't weather the Russell/Rutherford eras and not still believe....... and yes all of those books, WTs and many of the Pre-Awake magazines can be found on the web after everyone started uploading them in light of the Sept 2007 KM's Question Box.

    Yknot,

you aren't seriously telling someone to go LOOK for a JW man for a mate? Are you a sadist? The lady is far better off to find a real man who puts his wife and family first and doesn't believe this "putting Jehovah first" (whatever in the fuck that means) nonsense.

    Shame on you.

When I started studying, I was head over hill for a gril named Debbie Williams, she was the light of my eye.Well I finished High school (74) and moved to Virgina were my brother in law had a job waiting for me. I later got a call from her, what did I do, instead of going to see her. I send her a Truth book and told I had found the TRUTH. Never heard form her again... A week does not go by that I don't think about HER??? Were are you Debbie Williams?

My wife thinks I am the perfect man. She has never said this but I know I am the perfect man so she doesn't need to. Also her computer is broken so she can't argue against my supposition.

The problem with the organization is that girls and boys think that if they aren't married young then they will be left on the shelf. This leads to many marrying in haste and later regreting the decision.

I remember the person I fancied when I was young I couldn't stand a year later at least I had the good sense not to marry them.

Many of my worldly friends waited until their 30's to get married since by then they knew themselves better so it is never too late.

It is also a myth that there is only one soul mate for each person since who you meet is dependent on geography and circumstance so people often pick from a very limited pool of prospects and many find true happiness with little effort. If they had been born in another country they would possibly have found someone else with whom they would be equally happy.

The advice to widen out is good advice, work on self esteem and confidence since people who are comfortable in their own skin are very attractive. Thats what my husband would tell you.

My husband says he's perfect but in truth it's the flaws that make him interesting. There is nothing like a feeling of superiority to boost a womans self esteem. I can't wait to get my computer back.
