    Freedom of religion: yes.

    Freedom to enforce religion: no.

Believe what you want inside the privacy of your own head; but keep it personal, keep it out of law, and keep it well the heck away from me.

Don't ask me to support it, don't ask me to follow it, and don't try to make it trump my freedom FROM YOUR religion.

Anything that helps you live your life is good. Anything you think you need to enforce on others, or "society", or put into law based on your religion is bad.

Because as soon as one religion gets put into law, there is no such thing as freedom of religion.

Out of PRINCIPLE, I believe even JWs should have that support.

Yes just as there is a verity of people in different race, culture, etc. I believe in freedom of religion... along with what Migwitch said.

There's no good without bad. I consider freedom of religion (along with its vitally necessary companion, separation of church and state) to be a basic human right. It is, therefore, "good."

But just like freedom of speech, another basic human right, there are disadvantages. Ironically, freeing speech requires one to give up certain freedoms--the freedom not to be pestered with stupidity and inanity come to mind. If you grant everyone free speech, you have to be prepared to hear what they say even if it turns your stomach.

Religions like JWs are the "bad" side of freedom of religion. There will always be people willing to use religion to control others and unfortunately, like porn, it is something that can't be quantified legislatively. You may "know it when you see it," but if you can't completely define it and isolate it from other "fair uses" of freedom of religion, you can't legislate against it.

I'm willing to take little details like my wasted childhood and, yes, even children dying for lack of blood transfusions or other refusal-of-care issues from other whacko nutjob holy-roller fundie religions, in order to have freedom of religion in the modern world. They are part of the bad that comes along with the good.

Sometimes I see that some believe the Watchtower Organization ruined their lives. Certainly, some have lost their families, friends and lives over the JW religion. It is terrible. I think religion's should be made liable if they violate Human Rights that everyone should freely be able to enjoy.

Even if you disagree with certain aspects of a religion, do you still support the freedom of that religion?

    Yes, for the most part.

So long as they don't employ mind control, yes!

Yes, I support freedom of religion. Even for the jws. I sometimes get quite irritated with the unreasonable jw bashing that occurs on this board.
