Brinjen, Carl Rove proved that some Americans will believe anything. You could tellt hem that Barack is a girl and his wife has a penis and they'd believe it if it was on Fox News or the 700 Club.

I know it for a fact... That is the only way to explain why they are so evil!

I don't think they are evil. If they are evil, then the sun is black.

No, Brinjen. That is not what all the fuss was over. The speech has been revised. The fuss was in the lesson plan following that asked students to write about how they could help President Obama achieve his goals. It goes even deeper. What looks benign has a hidden foundation.

Obama is connected to far left-wing extremists and radical activism. Don't let his demeanor fool you. Many Americans don't like the fact that some of his pals are thugs of the highest order. Many Americans, even some that voted for him, are beginning to mistrust him. WHAT ABOUT GEORGE BUSH!........everytime he opened his mouth the world wondered how much hash he had smoked before the interview!

This is not about George Bush, 007. Why are you bringing him up?

Thank God this is NOT George Bush. The world and America are safer everyday and night that he is no longer in office. Like I said, a small, but vocal group of Americans will believe anything they are told by fox news, 700 Club and people like Rush Limbaugh. Anything. This is even more pathetic than the death panels. Want to talk about evil? Talk about the diabolical idiocy of the men and women who passed and perpetuated these rumors. Obama is fine. Democratic Congress and Senate? I'm beginning to wonder.

You have no idea what you are talking about FHN. You parrot what other liberals like to spout...that those who disagree with the policies of the current president are somehow hypnotized by conservative television and radio. They are not. You don't do the research yourself and just assume the liberal talking heads are right because you so-o-o-o want them to be. They are not. That's okay though. America will be fine because people are waking up and paying attention now. It will balance out in due time. Extremism on either side is never a good thing.

You say this because I do not agree with you. I can say the same thing about you. That you parrot the extreme religious right. I'm a moderate. I am very disappointed in many of the democratic congressman and senators. But I am extremely much more disappointed in today's Republican Party.

...that those who disagree with the policies of the current president are somehow hypnotized by conservative television and radio.

No. Disagreeing with policy is one thing. Making up evil rumors, passing them around and believing them is a different matter. Examples, the fear mongering over healthcare reform and this speech to school children. Dispicable. And I know that not all Republicans and conservatives are behind this idiocy or are participating in spreading and perpetuating it.

I'm a moderate as well, FHN. We have that in common. I do not parrot the religious right, as I am not a religious person per se. What evil rumors are you referring to that are being spread around? Fear mongering over health care reform? The majority of Americans do not prefer a government take over of our health care...period. That's a fact. That is not despicable. The vast majority of working Americans would like health care reform that does not completely overhaul the private sector into a government bureaucratically-run one...period. That's a fact. That is not despicable. Most Americans don't like radical left-wing (or right-wing for that matter) agendas...period. That's a fact. That is not despicable. Most Americans are careful about insidious intrusions into the minds of our children and are cautious when someone with an agenda wants to push it on them. They want to know the particulars and where the foundation of his educational agenda is based...period. That's a fact. That is not despicable. Most Americans don't like socialism, communism, or marxism. Red flags are raised when someone with friends and ties to these ideologies starts appointing behind-the-scenes czars and Big Labor cronies to decision-making positions using our tax dollars...period. That's a fact. That is not despicable. Running up huge deficits for generations to come and wanting to implement and expand a socialized health care reform system that will eventually raise our taxes to unimaginable levels?....Now that's despicable.
