They have been shouting wolf for many years now, although one day they definitely are going to be right.

Our survival will not be as a consequence of heeding their warnings, they have failed too many times before, even though they boast of their understanding of scripture! (Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the son, but the father) Mark 13 v 32.

They have misdirected people by their failed statements/prophecies, they are guilty of causing end of the world fatigue in good Christian people.

But I suppose they are privy to this special information.

But look at the damage they have done to peoples lives by their FALSE WARNINGS!!!!

I remember the jack ass Ted Sallows speaking from the platform that the preaching work would DEFINITLY be completed by the end of the millennium, that was in 1989, what year are we now? LOL

    2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

    Dear dear Reniaa,

When the last generation finally arrives, whenever that may be.

Is there not another generation waiting in the wings for just this chance of salvation (Infinitum), remember Acts 24 v 15 (resurrection of the righteous AND the unrighteous, many of the unrighteous were never repentant at death? Yet this resurrection is not based on whether they were repentant or not.

He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Yet every day he waits, there are many many more millions born who will just end up being destroyed at Armageddon.

If he waits another [X] years, hoping that [Y] quantity will repent, that just means that in the meantime, all those 10's of millions of babies born to "unrepentant" parents will just end up being destroyed anyway.

Seems to be a rather odd arrangement for someone who "doesn't want anyone to perish".

After all their false prophecies they no longer name dates with God's name but simply use the 'its around the corner' rhetoric. It has been around the corner for 130 years now....why don't they just admit they are a false prophet and do not know?

I don't have issues with "last warnings" heck the bible is full of them.

Don't forget, we have one life and one shot at this party, every warning can be a LAST warning, so make them all count.

The issue isn't the warnings, its the message with the warnings, heck, we seen the result of fantical last warnings in Jonestown, in Montreal, in Waco.

Its never too late to come closer to God and Jesus, just don't do it for any other reason than love.

and, to answer the original post...no this is nothing new by the WT....around 75 they started calling it a warning work as opposed to a preaching work...they have called in the end, the end of the end, the final part of the last days, and the like. They may say the preaching work has been fulfilled...but that does not mean the door knocking busy work given to their cpatives is done. It is just a rewording, they would say again they are now engaged in a warning work as the end is soooo close. This is just to change the scene a bit and fire up the captives to do more..similar to those ridiculous campaigns.

and every few years, the politicians do their campaigns. Don't all governments or wanna-be's do campaigning? Why not God's government, that has already written Daniel 2:44 so many years ago?
