    Frankie,

Imo freedom is always a "man made idea," both "limited" and "imaginary" at the same time. Faith of some kind is just what it takes to act on it nonetheless. "Get up and walk," although you know you may (and ultimately will) fall.

    Nark,

I think if you give it that kind of perspective, and not the one implied one can see the positive, but one has to be "sort of" bent that way to begin with.

Ps Sacremento - Just to draw out a bit of conversation here, regarding your and Megs exchange at the biginning of this thread. I understand where you are coming from, however, I do understand Megs as well. Help me along here with your thoughts regarding faith and questioning?

Questions are going to definitely going to build faith imo, at least to a larger degree. It seems to be that one can only build faith properly once their questions have answers and only when you feel good about the answers.

I have faith that my gf isn't going to be cheating on me while i'm out of town. I do not have the need to ask.

My thoughts are not completely formed in this regard found in your reasoning. It seems to me to be in the right direction though.

To me to be frank here I fail to see or beleive a god of love making such a requirement?,, and definatly not in order to appease a need to be worshipped or adored by his subordinate creatures he made,,it not only sounds needy and conflicted,, it lacks totally the virtue to be even called love it is obvious not,, and totally against the Pauline definition of unselfishness as being one of loves expressions or motivating action, and why should we not hold a loving god to the same motivation free from egotistical motivations of self glorifications.

Faith means continuing to accept the Unholy Bible, even when presented with proof that it lies.
