I think I shall err on the side of caution by adding to this hot potato no more than the sour cream and chives of William Congreve's winsome words in melty, buttery yellow:

While many attribute the quote to William Shakespeare, it actually comes from a play called the "The Mourning Bride" (1697) by William Congreve. The complete quote is "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."
Congreve (1670-1729) was an accomplished practitioner of the wit and cynicism made famous by his contemporaries Jonathan Swift and Alexander Pope. His last play, "The Way of the World," (1700) is considered a classic of Restoration comedy.

The late 17th and early 18th century is often considered the golden age of satire. Writers took advantage of classical forms to cleverly castigate the royal and aristocratic classes. This was the era when the poet Alexander Pope could sum up his literary competition in a book entitled "The Dunciad," and Jonathan Swift modestly proposed solving the Irish famine by encouraging them to eat their own children

There you go CoCo, the very idea that a woman scorned would display the fury of hell, is pure satire.

    007 are you their supervisor?

If not then don't clean up their customer service follies. In fact you can provide offended customers with information on how to report their poor treatment by these women (and kindness by you or another person who reacts professionally to their needs).

Why they behave in a way you deem 'bitchy'....... who knows and it really doesn't matter why so much as if the behavior is appropriate or beneficial to the company who employs all of yall.

Another reason for both male and female disruptive co-worker types....... because no one calls them on their attitude (so because they can!)

    Here's my problem.

Whenever issues arise on this board which might appear sexist, men seem willing to discuss their biased point of view based on certain experiences, while women seem to demand that no one has the right for such points of view to be aired and therefore they attempt to stifle such a discussion. Why?

It all boils down to chilehood honeys.

A man child are birthed. Cigars all round, and back slappin an "yo de main man."

A girlchild are birthed an it are "bettah luck next time" or "de Load have other plans fo you STUD."

Why does any body who works in an office hear the words "IT'S THE PRINCIPLE OF THE THING" more often from WOMEN?

As any male in a mixed sex office will testify, WHY is it that when things go wrong, the FEMALES spend inordinate amounts of time arguing about how it was not their fault? It was hers with her blahhhhhh

    We all seen it.

The only thing worse than working with bitchy women is working with dumb men.

Men and Women handle conflict very differently from each other.

When men are pissed off at each other they will pound on each other a bit and then go grab a few beers and watch the game. Done.

When women are pissed off at each other they will harbor a grudge for decades on end accompanied by cruel and vicious acts designed to cause as much harm and suffering as possible over as much time as possible.
