Is this prejudice against JWs any worse than your sexist view of fathers as being nothing more than sperm donors? A child isn't always better off with its mother. There are many well-documented cases that prove this.

Westcoast you are right I don't know your whole story I only know what you have revealed on here that you are going for FULL custody of a 5 month old BABY from it's mother who could be still breastfeeding for all I know, Purely for religious reasons of a religion you used to FULLY support. I would never advocate taking such a young child from it's mother and neither would the majority of Courts.

You have asked for a paper that will try and say you wife would not respect the law of the land on blood transfusions for children, when You haven't even told us if you wife would respect a court of law judgement of her child to have blood or your personal wishes. I hope she realises you will be putting views in her mouth and she only has to state her position clearly.

Finally you say you would let her see the child and have contact but joint custudy would achieve all of what you say you want but you go for full custudy. The only reason for that would be to have complete control, since joint would give you what you want? the child knowing your viewpoint and it's mums, as well as you having official say on blood etc but you still go for Full custudy why?

You call her a crazy woman clearly dispising her and not liking her calling you apostate and in that you reveal your motives are not so much her religion but more personal with the feel of revenge for a relationship that has clearly got ugly.

So again I say I do not know your full situation but a man that can get all he says he wants from joint custudy yet still pursues Full custudy doesn't ring true to me as someone whose motives are pure. Would she get to see the child really? or would you use your power to say she an only see the child if she gives up her religion or never speaks of it to the child?

Maybe I do seem harsh but a man that would go for full custudy over a baby does not make me have warm feelings. I hope you step back and truly examine your motives and ask yourself this, does your wife love the child she bore has the child bonded with her completely as they do at that age? I pray your heart softens.
