Only 62 years old. That's much too young to die.

For all her beauty, she was a very talented actress. I refer to her roles in Extremities, The Burning Bed and Small Sacrifices. She was no lightweight when it came to acting.

    RIP, Farrah.

The Burning Bed scared me when I was a kid.

    The Burning Bed affirmed me.

I'd seen too much and heard too much.

    We shared a malady.

I'm sorry she suffered so horrendously with hers.

This poster had record-breaking sales back in the day. She is posing on a blanket from the photographer's truck--a low-budget photo shoot.

So many times I hear people say,..."if only I had ***whatever*** I would be happy."

Farrah seemed to have it all. Wealth, fame, admiration, and perfect good looks.

But from all we were allowed to know of her through the tabloids....it would appear that happiness, just like it is for most of us, comes in short spurts and short durations. Having *everything* is no guarantee of ever- lasting happiness. For all her glitter, she really wasn't much different than the rest of us.

Poor Farrah. I am sorry she suffered.

Did anyone see her televised fight with cancer? She remained so positive, and fought like a tiger while she lost all that beautiful hair, suffering terribly from what I think were too many procedures, too many promises etc. in Germany. She never lost her positive, happy spirit.

I was never a big fan until I saw her in this special.

May she rest in peace, and heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

I was never a Charle's Angel fan but Farrah was a good looking woman.

For us baby-boomers it is a sad reminder of how life is fragile for all of us.

    Very sad to hear this,

    growing up with TV,

we grow up watching so many of the celebritied that are now dying.

What girl from the 70's did not try to have hair that looked like Farah's?

    It does not seem real.

My heart goes out to Ryan O'Neal.
