If your partner is a zealous JW, does he/she knows you are coming here?
Do you try to keep it a secret? Did he/she found out...? Or is he/she suspicious?

Did you have an argument about it? Did he/she turn the information to the elders ti give you a hard time...?
What do you do to keep it a secret from him/her?

Hey, this thread is right up my alley.
For a long time, I went on here while the wife was not in the building.
I always erased my history.

She still is a fairly zealous JW and doesn't know that I come here.
Do you try to keep it a secret? Did he/she found out...? Or is he/she suspicious?
I still erase my history, but sometimes don't. She knows I go on odd websites (odd to her) and is afraid to know what they are. I still close the sites when she comes to sit by me, but I will go on JWS/JWN when she is in the building. She keeps her blinders on.

I think she's paranoid that the apostasy will infect her.

She never even considers telling the elders anything I do. She figures they could talk to me directly if they want to know something, and I can answer for my own "apostasy" to Jehovah or the WTS if I want to. She actually puts our marriage ahead of "turning me in."

When we were still attending meetings this was all a covert operation . I laugh now how paranoid I was someone would catch me .
I would erase history and only go to the site when no one was home . Even when we stopped meetings I kept it on the down low . After a while I slowly told my husband about the site and the variety of people that posted here .He enjoyed finding out information before the witnesses he worked with esp. the book study change information . Then I quit eraseing history after that .
Our older children were still active at the time ,and I found out recently my one son was checking my history when he came home to visit to see what I was up to ! He is now inactive too . His last visit home we openly discussed the witness mind control and how wrong it is .
My husband does get jealous over the fact I have more online time than he gets ! haha He doesn't frequent this site ,but he is not opposed to hearing or reading something i point out to him .
my wife and dad outed me for being here........she hates that i am still here.......we both have laptops.......we are online at the same time......but she assumes i am at evil apostate websites when she does not really know that........oompa

I'm divorced now, but when I was still married my spouse resented my posting on ex-jw boards. She resented my forming friendships with ex-jws or other "worldly" people. Of course, since I had DA'd, I couldn't associate with JWs either. Come to think of it, she resented my being friendly with a MS servant even when I was a JW and did all she could to sabotage the friendship. She did the same with my family. In short, I was her goods, her chattel, and my existance was solely for her benefit.

When she saw I had over 500 posts she stopped believing it was an infrequent visit. Private browsing on my Mac is pretty cool though.
