But when we find this stuff in the Bible it's ok right?

You might not like some of the things that happened in the bible but it leaves you under no allusions regarding life in a fallen world. If you are trying to say that the bible tells Christians to do bad things then you are way off base.

Nowhere does the bible say I should preach with physical force (unlike the Qur'an), quite the opposite

    Matthew 5:38-48 (New International Version)

    An Eye for an Eye
38 "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' 39 But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41 If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
    Love for Enemies
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Nowhere does the bible say people should not have a choice to believe or not (unlike the Qur'an), once again the opposite

    Revelation 22:11 (New International Version)

11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."

    All the best,

Thanks for telling me how I feel about it.

Since you didn't read my first sentence I'll state it again, only this time I'll say it about Christianity as well as Islam. Islam (& Christiantiy) means to many differant things to too many people to put out blanket claims. I would also argue that for many (not all but many) these traditions are not the be all end of all for peoples beliefs. In Western countries we have the Christian heritage, but also the enlightenment (among other things). We reinterpret what religion means to us all the time. The same happens withing the gigantic tent of Islam. I hate to used a tired old sterotype but when one researches a bit about the Christian crusades and the capturing of Jerusalem one finds an interesting difference in some instances as to how the Muslims treated their captives as opposed to the Christians.

People can take from their holy books whatever they like to construct and defend the belief that they want to hold. If you want to try and argue that the entire Bible has a pure and uniform message that can be articulated and explained in a logical so that it is completely moral then we're simply have to agree to disagree I'm way beyond believing in such idealistic fabrications.

The Jewish, Christian and Muslim Bibles were all written by fundamentalists. All three of them have an authoritarian mentality. While the subject of the video is worthy of consideration it can only be taken in conjunction with all fundamentalism including the ones in this country and the one that put out that video in the first place (Fundamentalists are each others worse enemies).

The spiritual descendants of those who gave us the witch trials and the persecution of Anne Hutchinson will gladly resurrect Theocracy if given the chance. Remember Sarah Palin and the fact that tens of millions of mindless, soulless americans were a few percentage points away from electing her.

Chalam, most of the abominations mentioned in the Bible were done with the blessing of its demon god. Is he a fallen god?

What ever happened to Merry Magdalene? Did you all run her off with all the anti-muslim talk?

I really don't like this video!

The first flaw is they compare population growth among French people with immigration of Muslims. They say "the fall off the German people" is due to Islam. Apples vs. oranges. French is a nationality and Islam is a religion.

I couldn't care less if more people become Muslims instead of Christians. I don't see how that will make things any worse.

The 2 nd flaw is the claim that increasing Islam will increase terrorism, with no empirical support provided.

The 3 rd flaw is they never say if the world's population of Muslims is increasing or if they are just emigrating.

4 th they seem to be basing their call to action on a religious imperative to spread the gospel. Wouldn't God be calling all Christians to Heaven before He let the world be taken over by heathens.

Several times the video uses "they" to make sweeping generalizations about Muslims and implies "they" are plotting to extinguish Christianity. I guess if I was going to make a video with such claims, I'd provide proof to back them up.

I think it's worth mentioning that the Muslims are not at all unified. The Sunnis and Shiites have always been bitter enemies.

The cradle of Islam in the Middle East is nowhere near being a religious utopia that people are going forth to spread to the ends of the earth. Frankly, they leave for other countries to escape hardships in their "old country", but bring the shackles of Islam along with them.

Do you think that those beheading "infidels" in their Jihad consider they are following this verse?

    047.004

YUSUFALI: Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost. PICKTHAL: Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain. SHAKIR: So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish.

Likewise, do you think that those who are involved in terrorism think that are slaying the infidel pagans according to this verse?

    009.005

YUSUFALI: But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. PICKTHAL: Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. SHAKIR: So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

There are plenty others, have a read if you like what you have read already. Personally I like the bible and Christ's example.

    Ephesians 6:12 (New International Version)

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

    All the best,

    Stephen

We have the same alarmist propaganda here in New Zealand; only it's not Muslims, but the higher birth rates of Maori and Pacific Islanders compared to Europeans.

The entire tone of the video is gravely anti-Muslim. I bet it was financed by Christian fundamentalists!
