What constitutes adultery for the WTS?

  I was an elder many years and only sat in on one case of marital infedilty. Since there was a confession in this instance

  we didn't need to know anything about the "act" (and none of us really wanted to know). The Flock book is

  clear on Loose Conduct and Porneia, and porneia includes adultery. But since the WTS is legalistic in this area because

  of the remarraige issue(which I always beleived was wrong), what in your experience actually "broke the marriage bond,"

  short of the act of intercourse in any of its forms? I'd appreciate any comments from former elders.

  As far as I know, oral, anal or vaginal sex. However, there could be a presumption of adultery if you spent a nighttime at your girlfriend's/mistresses house or a house of prostitution.

  What Metatron and Stillajwexelder said. Add to that that these acts can be with someone of the same sex and still be considered adultery.

  I also heard that if one can and has had oral sex with himself it was over for you because you were the larger man in the meeting.

  For a long time same sex was NOT considered adultery and was not grounds. I believe that was changed though... Blondie would know!

  (not because blondie has had a lot of experience with same sex relationships (I assume) but because she knows everything!)
