Republicans and opposed Americans have to find a way to work WITH this president or we are all going to end up in a pit. This isn't any time for partisan politics and hanging on every word of Rush and Ann.

There are no Republicans - there are only a party called Obstructionists. I see a hand full of extreme right wing groupies and rabid slobbering dogs like Hannity - asking people how Americans should revolt? aka..militants. Limbaugh telling the country he hopes Obama fails. Bolton talking about nukes bombing Chicago aka Obama's home town - the list goes on and on. It's ridiculous and reminds me of the Palin attempt at getting people so angry they threatened to kill the President elect. sammieswife.

Funny how it's mostly right wing fundies calling Obama the messiah. Those of us who voted for him sure don't call him that. Priest, I know you aren't a right wing fundy. Don't worry. We just don't share the Obama panic. Obama has to earn my panic. So far he's coming up in the red.

    I hope we recover.

Because if we recover then there is no big conspiracy.

But if there is a big conspiracy and we dont recover they plan on putting us in concentration camps

and doing away with us and reducing the worlds population to 500 million.

And if there is a big conspiracy they economy is not crashing by accident.

It is being manipulated to destroy Amerika and to get Amerika to accept 1 world goernment,

1 world religion and 500 million sheeple.

Kind of like what the bible and the Wactower talked about just 100 years late.

The Jehovahs witnesses are not the only ones to preach about the end times and tribulation.

The born agains are into that also. If your born again friends dissappear and they are not in a concentraton

camp, that would mean you're pretty much screwed.

That would mean they were raptured in the twinkling of an eye and born again is the correct flavor,

    way to believe.

You might be able to survive the tribulation but its not going to be pretty or easy.

And youll have to start believing in God and reading the bible.

But you dont have to go back to the kingdumb hall.

I'm really starting to get a kick out of how bitter conservatives are right now. Even when President Obama does things that conservatives should like, such as cutting taxes for the middle class, they bitch and moan. I still remember the gleeful little repug-Nazis running around Florida in 2000 with "Sore Loserman" t-shirts on.

Could it be that you guys are starting to realize just how long 4 years really is? Or even worse that pumping billions of dollars into the middle class is likely to maintain the Presidents high approval ratings leading to a second term? Or how about the realization that the good old conservative playbook doesn't work anymore, and the louder you guys scream "big government" and "socialism," the deeper the Republican party slips into political irrelevancy?

The latest idea out of the GOP is to reject Federal funds for extended unemployment. That is pure genius! The Democratic party is working overtime to convince the country that Republicans only care about rich people, and the brain trust in the GOP decides it would be a good idea to deny money to people who have been laid off.

    How dumb are Republicans?

I think I just felt a shiver up the back of my leg!

So CPAC is the (current) future of the GOP and they've come up with....................wait for it.............................Newt Romney! Er, Nitt, Mute, whatever. Anyhoo, he's the Mormon they rejected last year. What up with that?

And Limbaugh is the voice of the GOP? Hip-hop? Steele? Palin? Jindal? Wurzelbacher?

You cannot, cannot, CAN NOT make this stuff up. I keep waiting for the GOP to begin to turn this around, but instead they go deeper, like the Titanic. The lostness is less disturbing that the floundering, flailing attempt to correct. It is like a Christopher Buckley satirical novel only funnier.

I could only watch for a couple of minutes, because I have a sensitive gag-reflex , but I acknowledge that he is a powerful, persuasive and entertaining speaker, especially if you're already converted .

What I find interesting is that, out of all the GOP pols actually in contention for leadership of the party, it is an entertainer who is best able to articulate their agenda. But, then, there is theatrical sense of unreality about the past, present and future of the party, so perhaps that fits.

A far right moral GOP leader? That would put wind in liberal sails.
