Favorite Martini?

    Ever had a Blue Smoke martini? It is great not sure what it in it but really pretty and tasty.

    Rince the martini glass with Gran Marnier or Cointreau. Place garlic stuffed olives in botom of glass.

    Gently stir gin and (and the tiniest splash) of dry vermouth in ice. (Do not shake.) Once sufficiently chilled, pour into glass.

    Currently favourite is a Pomegranate Martini. Vodka (Tito's or Absolut), triple sec, pomegrante mix, shake thoroughly. Olives optional. Extra dry preferred.

    Then there's the old standby vodka martini straight up, olives preferable over a twist.

    Vodka is preferable over gin, but if gin must be used it should be Blue Sapphire.

    Tanqueray Ten gin shaken with crushed ice, poured through a strainer into a chilled martini glass...add three blue cheese stuffed green olives...YUM!!

    EXACTLY - James Bond has it wrong. Shaking causes the gin to get oxidized or"bruised"

    Gently stirred. Any Gin as long as it is real British Gin

    Gordons, Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, Beefeater etc

    Ice and Noilly Pratt vermouth

    Hmmm stilla...so you are not of the "opening up the gin" persuasion. Maybe I just drink them too quickly to notice they are bruised!

    ...but a true purist wouldn't dirty up their martini with vermouth!!!

    Icy Ketel One shaken black and blue, add a bit of olive juice and blue cheese stuffed olives.

    Stoli citron vodka served over the rocks with a twist

    A cosmo made with fresh citrus, especially if it's pale pink for some reason.
