Yuck - I remember Illingsworth. He was a real ass. We attended Pioneer meetings in which he stated his belief that us yokels were too laid back - that pioneers in the city were used to being up and started in street work at 0600. How dare we midwesterners think we could sleep in and start service at 0900. How many company leaders can get away with criticizing the volunteer sales force for waiting until the public is actually awake to start selling?

Hughes -- CO - I was Too young to remember his mannerisms. He was really tall though.
McGee -- CO - Wasn't an A-hole. Claimed that his parents came under demon attack until his father yelled "Jehovah!!!!". Made pioneers do laps around the kingdom hall if they fell asleep during pioneering school.
Jones - I liked him, even though he kind of encouraged butt-kissing. He was very friendly and made the most jokes during his talks in district conventions. He was the kind of guy that if you befriended him, you'd become an MS or an elder after a few months.
Malone - CO with a stick up his ass. I did like him in the sense that he didn't take butt-kissing like the other CO's and i didn't have to do more than just shake his hand. He didn't bother remembering people's names for the 3 years that he was there, and it visibly annoyed some of the elders (which i found hilarious).
Now that i think about it, its funny how much i revered and respected these guys while i was still going to meetings, if i saw them now i would treat them like any other person.
Illingsworth was my one of my 2 MTS instructors. He was always very decent to me, but he looked more the part of retired professor or wealthy business man than humble "servant of God." I am still trying to figure out how he could afford to dress as sharp as he did. He was any thing but humble.
Michael Emilio,.....was a single CO in the midwest and Nevada (from 1st class of MTS).. last I heard was on the east coast as a CO to the Italian circuit.

New York, Circuit 5 (Harlem)
Musco Barber - Subtle as a freight train. Felt runover by a train when he would leave.
Wayne Carter - Never had any trouble with him. Very personable.
Sylvester Bennet - Captain Browbeat
Marlowe - man was worshipped. Very charismatic. Great guy, kind, compassionate. I truly believe he cared about the "sheep". A real company man through and through. He was unique in expressing that he had doubts about some of the beliefs although he never said this from the platform but he mentioned it to my family when we ate with him. But he was also one of those that believed that since it was Jehovah's org that any wrong beliefs or troubles would be worked out as the light gets brighter or that Jah would eventually fix things in his good old time. He was a good man that i respected. People cried when he left after he served his time in our circuit. I think if he announced that he was christ incarnate folks would believe him. If i do recall his son went apostate or something.
Bartel - hardheaded italian mafia type. He calls everyone "bro" and "sis". Least likely to ever see the light. Good speaker though, has some real talent there.
Chin - very hardnosed. Foreceful. Opinionated. Not very friendly. Quite a cold guy as i remember. Not a lot of people liked him. He alwaays pointed out were things were wrong and the elders weren't too fond of him, my father included.
i'll think of more of em later
