Child Predator Caught by my Son

We were sitting here in the living room talking about this. The mother is very calm about it all. But we were talking about the computer, wondering if there would be anything on it. First we hoped not and then maybe if he has child porn on it, it will make sure he is locked away for a long time.

As it is now, it is only breaking and entering and theft, but for reasons of what was stolen, until the computer is gone over, he will be incarcerated without bail/bond. Which I am thankful the judge was smart enough to do that.

No weopons were in the house, so they guys had no guns to protect themselves had the intruder had a weapon.

One of my twins scuba dives and he was diving at a lake nearby a few years ago. Someone dove off a cliff and never came up, my son just so happen to come up from diving at that spot. The kids our friend jumped and is down there. Well my son did find him, but the kid already had drowned. My son went through a big deal over that finding him.

I just want to take my kids sometimes and have them all with me under one roof, and eat and watch TV and play board games and never let them out of my site.

    My grand daughter is eight.

anyway, I was pretty shook. I still cannot stop thinking about it.

My kids are 21 and 23, I feel the same way purps. I wish I could just keep them near. My son rides BART to work everyday, and lives in Oakland. Dunno if you heard, but the cops killed a guy the other night at a stop he goes past, and there have been riots. I keep calling him just to hear his voice

Yeah I heard about it, sorry.

    My kids are 30, twins 27, 23 and 21.

The most peaceful nights are when we are all under the same roof.

When I first moved back to AR in 2000 from Texas, they all came and spent the night at my apt.

    great kids,

    beks, instinct again

I remember in Texas a couple fighting in the parking lot where I lived, It woke us up and I thought he was going to beat the hell out of her.

I went outside and told them to break it up and for him to leave her alone. I don't know what got into me.

He told me to shut up and mind my own business. I said I will not, I will call the police.

Anyway, the lady said thanks, she was alright.

And, the couple(intruder and his wife) teaches childrens bible classes at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in our town.

I read Jeffrey Archer's book about his time in prison. He interviewed a lot of different types of inmates, including a convicted murderer. This man was in jail for a revenge killing of a someone who molested him as a child.

He brought out an interesting point. Child predators go where they can get easy access to their victims. So, they jobs in child care, foster parenting, teaching, Sunday School, and Bible classes, and the like. Very creepy! Makes it so you don't want to trust your child with anyone!

Too bad the cops got there so quickly. The guy could have "accidentally" impaled himself by falling on a rusty garden rake about fifty times and then "accidentally" hung himself from his own tree in the front yard...

Purps, this is so frightening. What a good boy you raised! For the sake of the children in the neighborhood, I hope this man just has a panty fetish and hasn't actually followed through on anything.

Purps , I am so glad your son is okay and what a relief he has able to stop this guy before he did anything worse . I know what you mean about just wanting your kids to be safe and under your own roof . My sons are 27, 24, and 21 and I still worry about them everyday .

My youngest is involved with a sweet girl that unfortunately comes from a dysfunctional family life .Last night he informed us to make sure we keep the doors locked at night because his girlfriends mom is having boyfriend troubles and will be getting an order of protection issued today .She has had to do this before for the same guy ,and last time he went beserk and she had to flee the state !

Remember when we thought it was hard to keep after our kids when they were toddlers and into everything .......it's nothing compared to the worries we have for them now ,is it ?
