The great crowd of other sheep are considered as Christians who do not share the heavenly hope, per the WT.

Listen, min, they can consider themselves whatever they want, but strictly speaking the WTS considers the scriptures in the NT to only apply directly to the Christian congregation and only in a secondary way to anyone else at the KH. You can reference Christian congregation on the WT-CD and it refers you to "congregation of God" and "anointed." It is one of those ways the WTS speaks out of both sides of their mouth. Ask a jw what religion they are and 99.9% will say, "jehovah's witness." They don't even put "Christian" on the sign on or outside the KH. The separation can be seen when the WTS first adopted the name JW and did not apply it to the non-anointed attendees and did not invite them to the memorial untial 1938.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult of Christianity. They may have the appearance of conforming to Christianity, but upon closer examination, we see the basic tenets of their religion belie that claim.

    John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

However, as Hamsterbait, Outlaw and Undercover state (and Blondie references):

The fact that they deliberately disobey Christs command to take the communion bread and wine means they are not practising true first Century christianity.

Nowhere in the NT is any distinction made, or is anybody told not to "take, eat."

How can any JW consider themselves a Christian, when their mediator is not Jesus?..It`s the WBT$
But therein lies the issue...according to some* of the publications/articles, the Christian Congregation is made up only of the annointed. The Christian Congregation is only 144,001 (including Christ) strong. All others (others being JWs) are companions to the true Christians. They worship Jehovah and they live a Christian life, but they are not part of the Christian congregation.

It is their unscriptural beliefs that make the Jehovah's Witnesses the counterfeit Christians. They are Christians without Christ.

This is the primary reason why I left.

Weird, to be a good Witness you have to allow yourself to be included in a group cluster f*, as long as you have only Witness friends and attend regularly the meetings then the cluster f* is enjoyable and does not cause bewilderment. But the moment you begin to use your mental facultys as think on your own then you get pissed off because you find yourself saying most of the time this word: (WHAT!).

And, I agree with Marjorie that they are counterfeit Christians.

You're right min, they do throw the term Christian around quite loosely when it comes to refering to the entire JW brotherhood. But when you look up the definitions, as Blondie pointed out, you see that only the anointed are part of the True Christian congregation.

It's damnable how they deceive their own people into believing something that they really don't adhere to in doctrine.

Notice how duplicitoius they are in the this FAQ on the jw-media.org site:

    Are you Christians?

Yes. We follow Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and put faith in the ransom sacrifice he provided for the salvation of mankind. We imitate his example in preaching and teaching and in our dealings with fellow humans. We also look forward to living in true peace on earth under his heavenly Kingdom.

We? Who is we? You and me(if we were still JWs)? Your mother? My mother? No...they conveniently leave out who "we" is. They were to able to answer honestly by not clarifying the two classes of worshippers. They also make no mention of the official doctrine of only the anointed being the true congregation. They purposely never answer a direct question to this question or clearly explain it in any of their publications. The average rank and file member sees this and happily goes along telling everyone he's a christian when in reality, according to doctrine, he's not.

The Society is a lying, deceiving bunch of bastards.

When referring to "true Christians" should do this or that, they are never only referring to the anointed.

They consider the bride of Christ and the cong. of God as being only the anointed within that specific framework.

But they really believe that only the anointed are true and direct Christians by association with Jesus; the others are only by association with the anointed, and in that way only can they be considered any kind of Christian.

Some kind of a Christian is better than nuthin;, huh?
