Does Resurrection require your DNA?

The current body is considered a seed for the new body. That could mean any part or fragment, especially for a body that has dissolved away. The DNA is like a detailed assembly manual. It eventually is all destroyed beyond physical recovery. If you accept a supernatural method for resurrection, then replicating a body from DNA could satisfy the idea of the original being a seed for the new one.

The problem with the JW idea of resurrection is that there is no connection between the original body and the new body. There is not even an indication it will look the same or contain the identity. The other big problem is the JW idea of personality no longer existing after death. If the memories are stored on J-ghod's great big sky server and downloaded into a body that has no relationship with the old one, then that soul has no real connection with the person whose memories it was downloaded with. It only thinks it was that person because it has imprinted memories, but not actual experiences. The original was annihilated and no longer exists.

The main problem is to bring back the consciousness and awareness that "me is ME" or "you is YOU". If mankind once is able to MEASURE, LOCATE and DEFINE "consciousness", we can definitely assign it to a certain person. Besides, quantum mechanics phenomenons do not depend on certain time or space. They even can affect future, present and past simultaneously in different parallel universes.
