Oh, and if you were a local from the Springfield, MA area in the late 60's, you might remember:

    Jac Veronesi and Friends

I went to high school with his lead guitar player...they were a pretty big area band, though.

Doobie Brothers -- a rockin' good time.

    Cars -- what great songs.

Hall and Oates -- consummate performers.

Electric Light Orchestra -- technical wizards, haunting melodies -- my favorite group of the era

Earl Klugh -- sound-alike jazz songs, reminded me of the repeat process of milk bottles being filled at a dairy -- all alike, monotonous

Chuck Mangione -- great trumpet songs

    Kenny G -- soulful sax

    SirNose86 saw:

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, late last year

    Lucky you!

I don't get out much, but I have enjoyed:

    • Kid Beyond

    • Holly Tannen – Her most recent CD, Crazy Laughter, is the one I like best.
Both in small, intimate venues. I don't do well in crowds.
