Why Can't People Just Show Appreciation For This Place???

When people feel there are problems they should be able to voice their opinions without threat of termination.

That was my very first thought too, However, upon reflection I realize that we're not talking about restriction on freedom of expression or thought in this case. If I understood Simon's announcement correctly, he warned people to stop hijacking threads and then noted that it was currently being done by gay people more than straight people. IMHO, this particular thread is about the gay porn that was posted and the bitching done about Simon's announcement. Porn of any sort is against the rules. A while back there was a topic about celebrities who women on this board found attractive. When I posted that I stumbled across a nude photo of my choice for that thread, I was warned by other posters not to post the photo of him in the nude. Since I didn't want to break the rules, I didn't post it. BIG DEAL.
Everyone wants the "my house, my rules" saying to be observed when it is their house. By breaking house rules, the freedom of the "homeowner", so to speak, is being infringed upon. So, let's just be reasonable. Don't hijack threads, and don't post porn. If you want to do that sort of thing, start a site of your own, or frequent sites that allow it, for Christ's sake.
