not to play coy, but some issues are too personal
to discuss on a forum so open and public...
but rest assured that for the children that have endured
CSA, there has been therapy, for the one mental health
diagnosis, it has been nearly 6 years and while
"recovery" isnt the goal, healing is happening
(actually, we have all been in therapy in some
combinations, family and individual)

this child was not sexu@lly @bused,
he simply has come to know in that
what appears to the world outside
does not match the inner person

what is difficult is the hate and hurt
that the ignorant ones in the world
feel they are entitled to spew without
regard for the human that is behind the
perceived miscreant they target...
that is MY child, he has a family
who loves and cherishes him

Oh chickpea... I don't know you....I don't know how it is for you...but nevertheless....Go you!! I've spoken to people who have had similiar experiences, I've read some studies and watched a fair amount of footage following the developments in young people's lives who find themselves in the wrong body. The one thing that remains a constant in all of their stories is that as long as the family stays together in love and support...well, things work out eventually.... as long as you have the foundations right, the rest follows in time. Stay strong and allow yourself to draw strength from your child and his courage. Go you!!

Wow Chickpea..This must be hard for you. I'm sure he is so relieved though to have your support and understanding. Just think how much worse he would feel if he didn't have you by his side. I hope it all works out well for him, being so young....I feel for him. Hugs to you!
