I stopped attending all but the annual REJECT Jesus 'Memorial' in late 1999.
As soon as I figured it all in November 2004 out I called Brooklyn Bethel's Serve-Us Department on the telephone and told the 'Faithful Slave' to bugger off.
That completed my fade.
Welcome AO . I've been out for a few years and it's great to be free. You're going to love it. Just remember, they don't own you. I hope your girlfriend sees the light, but be careful. I still can't get my sister to quit and she doesn't really believe in it anymore either. The organization has a strong hold on some people. They put so much guilt and fear in the congregations, it takes a long time to make the decision to leave. Let us know how things a going for both of you.
