Thanks for posting that Missing Link------Yep, I remember reading that when Barbara first posted it..........Naturally the Writing Dept. has to do a cut and paste and take quotes out of context because if they didn't, it would show that getting a good education beyond high school is a very valuable tool------something the WTS is desperate to conceal.

Good point.
What gets me is that it's all so unnecessary , this stuff the Borg brings on itself. The 'harm' from education is in their wild imaginings. surely if it were "The Truthâ„¢" it would stand up to the slings and arrows of the lies that are brought against it?

I think in your letter to Brooklyn, you should also state that you are sending copies to the various publications that they misquoted from so they can be aware of how the WT society is mis representing their words.
Good job!!

That looks like something they transplanted from a Washtowel of vintage 1969. They were playing the same tune back then, and they are repeating it now.
Often, college is not the ticket to a higher paying job. Sometimes, it is the ticket for any job. And, with today's unemployment, it is those with high school only that are taking the hit first. Those that went to college are faring better in the job market--even though they are not getting the highest paying jobs, at least they still have work. Perhaps the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger should take their no-college policy and shove it.

Probably, but I doubt that we'd ever see this in official print. My understanding is that they're only taking new recruits for Brothel if they have post-secondary eduacation. I knew a sister in my old Hall who got the boot from there for the sole reason that she didn't have the skills they needed. She kissed alot of ass there and they told her that if she went to Nursing School, they would be more than happy to keep her on. Her parents (very ambitious in the congregation and would do anything to climb higher up the social ladder), told her they would pay for her to get the training but she refused. Sheer laziness. The point is though, if they can't use someone with only a high school diploma at Bethel, what makes them think that companies in the "world" can?
