Yes, I would let it live, I would take it outside tho....
This time of year, it still goes down to -5 C at night, and just 10 C as high.
I might have to adopt it for a few more weeks...

Usually spiders move around a lot. I took that picture 5 hours ago, and it's still at the same place on the ceiling. It must be sleeping

The only reason I kill spiders is because they crawl in bed with you. I have bugs in my house...lots of bugs. Any I can let live, I do, just because I get tired of killing them. Too many bug guts on the bottom of my shoes.
Burn, back off on the photos.....OMG, I'm gonna have nightmares. 5 inches wide?????
