If it is discreet and you just keep them to yourself it is not a problem. It would be like going to see fireworks on New Years Eve. If you make a big deal about it and try to encourage others to go, it would be strongly discouraged. If you just went yourself or quietly with a small group, likely nothing happens.
Regarding the tatoos, if you get an Attack of the Zombies war scene on your back and parade it around at the next congregation picnic, you will be in hot water.
