How many JWs do you know that have "Failure to Launch" Syndrome (page 4)

I see now that someone else has touched on the money issue, but as another thought possibly the parents want to keep the youngsters in eyes sight

just in case of bad worldly associations to pull them away from the flock ? .............maybe

My failure to launch basically goes back to three things

one) I am never ever going to have a roommate ever! I will live with family till I can afford to live on my own.

two) In the area I live in it is impossible to find anything below $600 a month unless you want to drive 100 miles one way to work.

three) My religion told me to stick close to my MOM so I did.

Which is why I am leaving to move to a cheaper area soon to get away from her and maybe get on with my life.

I know somebody at the hall in their early 30's still living at home that was in 2006.
