    G'day all,

It seems a long time ago now, but we used to regularly have an Ozzie's Weekend Poll - kinda weekend stuff, y'know? They ran weekly for three years but they faded - my ill health didn't help.

Anyway, it's Sunday evening downunderneath youse lot and things seem to be kinda quiet on the board - (where the hell are ya??? ) so let's go polling, eh?

This weekend's poll question is;...........(drum roll)............................

Why don't they build Kingdom Halls with windows in the USA?

    1. They forgot.

    2. Building committee forgot to order them.

    3. To stop people looking in.

    4. To stop the R&F looking out.

    5. It's cheaper.

    6. Something about "antitypical tents™" not having windows.

    7. To stop any "new light™" escaping.

    8. Fulfilling their civic duty to support the power companies.

    9. They don't have glass breakage insurance.

    10. Other (please detail)

So there ya go. Now settle back with a nice or even better a shiraz and post your votes.

    Cheers, Ozzie

I attended a memorial service at one of the newer KHs yesterday. With no windows and rows of cheap seats, the building felt and looked like a funeral home.

So I'll add Funeral Home Decor to the list.

Cheaper and discourages vandalism, from those little demons.

    Other -

Based on the Biblical command not to mix two different fibres it is evident that they should not mix building materials such as bricks and glass.

When I was a teen, the KH I attended in a large city was constantly having rocks thrown through the windows. So they eventually removed the windows and bricked them in.
