    Meh. Carbon dating has been proven faulty by the Jehoobers Witnesses. God makes their tests malfunction, so the necessariy conclusion is that the dating is at least 94,000 years off.

    I think it's interesting, too. If you would ever like to read good fiction based on archealogical findings from the ice ages, The Earth Children series by Jean M. Auel is excellent. The first book is the Clan of the Cave Bear. Jean Auel can be very verbose and overly descriptive of flora and fauna, but once you get into the meat of the book it's a great story and difficult to put down.

    There are many dating methods used, and if they all match up, they could be reliable.
