Hey, they took down their response to NBC. It was pretty misleading. I wonder if that is partially a result of the criticism from JWD. It may have also been awkward for them because they had to admit to the out of court settlements. It was a great way to prove that it really happened from an official JW site. I would like to start a new post on this, but I'm blocked. Would anyone else like to volunteer?

Fatfreak, the link you provided pointed to http://www.jw-media.org/vnr/2122827332/717263.htm. There's one point too many at the end of that url, naturally leading to a "page not found". That might be why some thought the video had been removed already, while it's not yet the case.
My bet is that they're going to remove it as late as possible.

I think they really are in a pickle. They can take the video down and be embarrassed when everyone jumps at them, and they will be seen as having the pedophile problem. Or they can leave it alone and be looked at as hypocrites.
About the only way out of the jam is to keep the video up, and put another one up prominently that explains that they have been hiding the problem in their organization. That is the only honest thing they can do that has even the slightest hope of saving face.

Exterminator, you are so correct. There is a period at the end of that URL. By the way, we need more sharp eyes like yours on this forum since mine are abviously getting dim. If you haven't been cordially welcomed here (I see you're quite new) then consider yourself Welcomed .

No, I haven't, alamb. I don't have a recorder. Why don't you remove the suspense and tell us all what it says. I may be tempted to run down to Radio Shack and buy one if you tell me it's significant.
