But I am preggers too And I am due in March. I traveled out west about 7 years ago, it was awesome...I loved gambling. I haven't been to Vegas though, sounds like a blast.
Have fun to all that go! I might be up for a trip in the summer though.

PARTY ON, you evil apostates. When we settle on a location, hotel that is, I'd like to see about a small meeting room for a night of dance and partying. I got the music and compact equipment I can bring along. All should bring their favorite CDs also.

everyone, where should we stay? since i've never been there, how about some suggestions on accomodations? someone has suggested renting out a vacation home or a cheap off the strip hotel or a more expensive on the strip place...whatcha all think? talk to me

I'm thinking that the way this is shaping up,we should probably try to find something on the strip.There will be lots of us,and chances are that most everybody will want to spend some time there.We should check some prices,anyway.If it's too expensive we can look at something else,but since most will be flying in,a central location will be worth something to us,I think.

I live in Nevada, but not in Las Vegas. My daughter does live in Las Vegas, and she is one happy apostate! I love Vegas! It is so beautiful and so much fun, with so many things to see and do.
If everyone or most of us would like to stay in one hotel, the Sales Department of the hotel will set aside a block of rooms at a special rate (just like they do for JW conventions or other conventions. I used to work in a hotel-casino in Reno, and I know that rates are negotiable, now more than ever.

okay so i guess i can call a hotel on the strip like bally's or the hilton (when i checked online the rates seemed reasonable) and request a block of rooms then we all can reserve what we want. i'm open to sharing a room with 2 or 3 others (i don't mind sleeping on the floor or whatever...) so lets pick a place (and roomies)! and then we can get this ball rolling.
