I love the White Stripes! momz

    Very "pure" stuff, isn't it?

I was scared they were gone forever, it took so long to get the new album.

Jack was busy with the Raconteurs.

    Steady, As She Goes

Jack's forgiven, I love it!! The instant the video started I knew I would. Am I allowed to like both at the same time?

I'll take Pat Benetar or Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) any day. Caught a sweat towel thrown from the stage by Ann at a concert in 80 or 81....white with orage stripe down middle......those were the days....oompa

    sweetstuff,

    Ahhh...you like Jazz!

Listen to this. It is a fairly conventional be-bop setting with some of the best players in Jazz today including the amazing Gordon Beck on piano and Kenny Wheeler on horns. It is the enigmatic and mysterious Tony Oxley on drums that you need to keep an eye on. I would without hesitation state that he is one of the top five jazz drummers EVER to pick up sticks.

Here you will find out more about Tony Oxley http://www.efi.group.shef.ac.uk/moxley.html He has made at least four albums with just solo drums and it is unusual to see him in such a conventional setting as this as he is and has been an avante-grade Jazz player for decades.

This is a very rare clip. God bless "youtube" and all who sail on her.

The background noise of the many climate control systems at work, they're not very entertaining. :(

I am currently listening to the sound of air rushing through the furnace ducts in the house. It is a bit below freezing outside, and the moon is bright overhead. Heard a whack of Christmas music at the grocery store a few hours earlier. I always enjoyed listening to Phil Spector Christmas music, 'till he became pond scum and a murderer. Night all. ZZZZZZ.
