I used to love field serviceā„¢ in the winter. Householdersā„¢ rarely answered their doors, and never wanted to have a conversation. Coffee breaks were much longer.

I have to agree. But I didn't stuff mags into the snowbanks. Properly dressed, I would sweat in Winter.
Coffee breaks were at least 3 times as long and twice as often. Most JW's had a habit of taking off several
layers at the coffee shop, so getting back out would take another 6 or 7 minutes when we were done.

I only did field service in FLorida, so we didn't really have the extreme cold, though I remember being miserable one December becasue I had auxillary pioneered that month and spent my whole 2 week "Winter Break" in field service--40 degrees and raining.

By the way, despite JW background, I Love Dresses! I love nylons, I love pumps, I love pretty skirts. I just don't like carrying a book bag full of watchtowers with the ensamble.
