I have to report for Jury Duty(tm) tomorrow.
I'm going to plead insanity. And I can prove this. It's easily proven, actually.

I was called twice when I was a Dub and also had to care for an autistic grandson who was not yet of school age. I was let go. Honestly, I would have loved to have had that experience. They have never called me back and the grandson is in college now, LOL!
Hubby got called only once a number of years ago, and he got made the Jury Foreman! He LOVED the process and the honor! He STILL talks about things he learned and never would have been privy to otherwise. Being in the boondocks, the lawsuit was not among your "big city" cases....(giggle) it was about water rights for cows on a dairy farm.....but it WAS interesting the way things were developed (or so he said).
I hope you DO get to go through with seeing the Judical Process in operation....it could be exciting aftter all!
