Will the Book Study ever be dropped from the weekly meetings?

Did I miss something? last I heard my mom was attending a book study during the afternoon (senior citizen special). So now they only have two two-hour meetings a week?

The reason that the Book Study was discontinued was to reduce the legal exposure of The Watchtower.
These meetings were sponsered by The Watchtower and attendence was "required." This was stated plainly in the official literature and so the Corporation couldn't relinquish any liability for what might happen at the homes before, during and after the study.
It is as simple as that.

This meeting, which was once called a "blessing from Jehovah," became a legal burden to The Watchtower!
And so it was done away with!
This tells one exactly from where the so-called Organizational "blessings" really originate.
It isn't from Jehovah!

Question: Does anyone know if a person's home owner insurance would cover the weekly Book Study gathering?
Seems to me that a person would have to pay extra for having such a gathering on a regular basis.
