I think leaving "cold turkey" is too difficult for the average person. I agree that one should investigate and KNOW that this religion is simply not true. My point is that once you realize things aren't right, get out and continue researching, reading and proving to yourself why it's an untrue belief system. Why stay in the religion when you know it's wrong? Even if you're confused by certain things, it's better to get out so that you're no longer inculcated by the lies and "brain washing".
