    Dear Nathan Natas,

The book is an Inquiry, not a study. The body of Jesus Christ is not needed to explain a medical condition.

What loving father would require a human sacrifice of his son for something someone else did? We are created in the image and likeness of God, and we would not sacrifice our son like the book claims was done to Jesus. It's a book that has been misquoted and translated over 2,000 years. Yet I am supposed to believe that such a parent would torture and kill his son like no other parent could bear to do.

When you say beyond our basic knowledge, what exactly do you mean and how do you know this?

Without the book, how would we know what to believe is truth or embellished? The book itself is questionable. Billions of persons do not accept this book or what is written in it.

    Hello Quentin,

The approach taken concerning this case of Hematidrosis is a scriptural one. If Jesus was truly the Son of God, and his earthly purpose was to ransom mankind-past-present-and future, then his situation is like no other. The suffering of all mankind-past-present and future can in no way be minimized, accepted of forgotten. With that said, scripturally, no other man or woman to date has been in the position Jesus was in behalf of mankind. Based on Scripture, no other man or woman could, or can, bear the burden of the entire human race as described in the account of Jesus. An interesting point concerning this medical condition: at the height of stress, the capillaries burst and mix with the sweat that drain from the pores of the body and appear as blood.

    Thank you for your response,

    Hi Blueblades,

Great questions and comments! Thank you. They help spark some longed-for inspiration of thought since death as a JW. In reply to the order you asked or commented:

    1) The key word is 'human'. God is not human, and if his son was the first creation, heavenly, as we are told thru the 'book', how could we know 'all' about the relationship between them that led to human sacrifice for mankind?

    2) The key words are 'image and likeness'. The scriptures do not describe Jesus as the 'image and likeness' of God. How can we compare 'sacrifice' from our human 'image and likeness' vantage point.

    3) Your belief in any book 'quoted' or 'misquoted' are yours as you see it.

    4) God did not torture his child. Jesus' human peers conducted the torture. That is why we needed a ransom for our own sickness. God is not a parent in the 'image and likeness' of mankind. Just the opposite.

    5) 'Basic knowledge' meaning mankind has gone so far!! What we have accomplished is astounding. Ongoing research can take us beyond our wildest thoughts and dreams. We still cannot explain beyond 'basic knowledge' of math and science why our brain, heart and body reproduces cells.

    6) Put the book aside, billions of people live and die. You explain it! You will have to write a book.

    Thank you,

    Outlaw,

We obviously are not talking about the same subject matter. Do you have any support group you can attend? You may want to get below the derm layer and into deeper tissue on this subject verses accusations of God and everyone else about abuse....man.

Outlaw, you're forgetting something...Jesus WANTED to give of himself as a propitiatory sacrifice to buy back what Adam lost, namely, the hope of everlasting life. Jehovah did not make him do it. He was a full grown man, do you really think Jehovah could force him to do it? Did he ever complain about Jehovah forcing him to do it? Did any of the apostles ever complain of him being forced to do it? Is there any Biblical evidence that points to the idea that Jesus regreted doing it, and was upset with his Father for doing it. No, the evidence shows, and even Jesus own life shows that he loved people. He WANTED to help mankind, the very evidence of this is the preaching and healing work that he did for those who came in contact with him. Why then, did he pray to his heavenly father for strength to carry out his mission to redeem mankind through his sacrificial death if his father was such an unloving individual? Outlaw,...frankly and honestly, I am offended at your use of the word "Shit" when used in connection my heavenly father Jehovah. You should consider that because of YOUR lack of faith, and YOUR lack of trust, and YOUR lack of relationship with Jehovah that you a very frustrated person. Has Jehovah ever called you a piece of "Shit"? When in reality you literally are simply dust in the eyes of our Creator? Literally, your soul, your dust, cannot even cary enough weight to move the scales of God's great measuring instrument. You are not even a piece of "Shit" at this point, you're less than a piece of "Shit".

Your minute, insigificant life, is but like the dust that is aloft in a room where the sunlight beams through the window and iluminates it so that it can be seen as it floats through the air. That is YOU, that is how God, Jehovah God, see's YOU. Dust, worhtless dust. Yet his son lovingly gave his life so that your worthless piece of dust could have some worth. And it was done out of love for mankind. The gift was for mankind. Like a child waiting for Christmas to come, YOU are too impatient, and cursing your parents because YOU can't be patient enough to wait, to receive YOUR gifts, YOU want the YOUR gifts now! And because YOU can't have your gifts, YOU stomp your feet and throw a tantrum and call your parents piece's of "Shit" because YOU can't have what YOU want, and what satisifes YOUR needs immediately. Do YOU see the problem here? It is YOU. It is not with Jehovah God or his son Jesus, it is with YOU, and I take great offense at anyone calling MY God, Jehovah a piece of "Shit". I sincerely hope that you have not thrown your gift away, because it was VERY valuable, I'm sure that there are others that would love to have it.
