Crosby Stills Nash & Young - Teach Your Children Lyrics

You who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
    And so become yourself
Because the past is just a good bye.

    Teach your children well,
Their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

    And you, of tender years,
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by,
And so please help them with your youth,
They seek the truth before they can die.

    Teach your parents well,
Their children's hell will slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

someone mentioned a song called "Sway"... Reminded me of an old Stones song called "Sway" that I liked but of course you had to be cautious of who heard you listening to lyrics like "It's just that demon life has got me in it's Sway..."

If there is ONE song that the volume goes to 11 on when it is playing then hands down it is "Change It" by the late great SRV. A great many other songs go to 10.5+ though :) ex: The Cowboy Song by Thin Lizzy

Hey You, Dawg, just joking. Mr. Flipper here. After I was dfed in 1998 I watched "The Wall" for the first time, It actually even though it was kind of depressing, it kind of was theraputic in a strange way. I've always been a big Pink Floyd fan too. David Gilmours new one which came out last year called "On An Island" is excellent. Lots of cool guitar work. Peace out to you Dawg. And to all thanks for the comments. Mr. Flipper
