Tim..............
Great video!
I see you are playing an Ovation. I just bought an Ovation in January......the first guitar in my hands in over 20 years. My problem is........arthritis..........VERY PAINFUL arthritis in my fingers and the more I try to play.......the more pain I get. So.......at least I tried! Maybe old arthur will subside, but for now the Ovation is sitting idle. Had to get back into the harp.(harmonica for those who don't know) From what I know........arthritis does not affect the lungs or the tongue.
Thanks for the topic Purps.

Times Like These
I am a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
then follows you back home
I am a street light shining
I'm a wild light blinding bright
burning off alone
it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again
I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
to hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
do I stay or run away
and leave it all behind?
it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again
Bravo! Tim...... you don't seem to have self-conscious issues to me. God I could never do that.....I only sing in the shower, in the car or to my grandkids..... Just beautiful guy!
Love, Juni
Very nice. I can't stop crying.
Thank you so much everyone!
This little exercise wasn't so much about my dodgy strumming or wailing vocals, but it was all to do with regaining my self-confidence after several years of the doldrums, so your validations really mean the world to me!
The guitar? Well, it's an Ovation Matrix that I bought over 25 years ago. Even though it was the very cheapest of the range, it still represented nearly a months wages way back in 1982. I've never used it to it's true potential though!
