This is my grand-daughter. She is part Black, part white, and part Puerto Rican. We call her a little "smore."

This is my son, Gabriel....(he has arms--they are just inside his shirt because he was chilly)

This is my other grand-daughter....and the "white" little boy in the front at Burger King is my grandson. He's a little "smore" too.

All my life, I have not given a rat's ass what color anyone is. It sickens me when I hear people talk of a pure race. Who gives a f***???? Only an ignorant person would. WE ARE HUMANS!! If all of us were turned inside out, who would be able to tell the difference except a forensic specialist? When the world can get past this "skin color" mentality, and we can love each other without looking at the outside, maybe we can truly evolve into something worth saving.

As for IQ's....maybe if ALL races were given the same educational opportunities and people were not discriminated against, we could all advance equally.

And just for the record, I wish someone would make a stupid comment about my kids and grands when I'm within earshot.

There are some brothers and sisters who have issues with interracial marriages as well as relationships. I, for one, along with one of my siblings, few of my relatives plus a number of close girlfriends have experienced this. Various ones (not only from Bethel/WHQ, but also in a few congs.) have expressed that "life would be extremely difficult for anyone in the org to be hooked up interracilly Think of the children who may come into this wicked world!" This is definitely a load of horse manure!! I know quite a few jws as well as nw's (non-witnesses) who. along with their children; they are not having that so-called extreme difficulty!

Somehow, I think this an ungodly method of controlling the masses for their own personal gains and for people to listen plus follow their own personal opinions--which is what that just is: opinions! Plus, the Apostle Paul has time and time again counseled Christians (within scriptures at both 1 and 2 Thessalonians) ". . . .mind your own business"! Too many busybodies trying gain worship for themselves and pressure others not to worship Jah!! HOW STUPID AND FOOLISH!!

I like the dusky ladies. I sure would not have an issue being hitched with one if such a thing were to ever happen. Of course, I am married, and would not trade my lady for anyone. But hypothetically.

As for the interracial marriage admonitions, I think that the WT was just echoing the societal standards of that time. To my knowledge, they have dropped the subject in recent years, and I have noticed that there were certainly plenty of mixed couples in the English language assemblies in the US. In the Spanish language ones, it is not such an issue. (there is not the same level of taboo in most latin american cultures. A huge percentage of latinos are multi-racial)

    "Hybrid Vigor"

    That's the ticket.

    E pluribus unum.

For a moment there, I thought the Wanderer was back. I wonder where he is now?
