I am so glad to hear you were able to help your family in such real and meaningful ways. To see your sis and help her family is something that YOU will be glad for in future years, and when it all calms down, her family will know who was really there for them. . .i hope her family is coping well. LovesdubsI had the same experience with my sister 35 years ago. It feels like yesterday. We went to see her, I cut her toenails for her, that night she died. Treasure the moment and it will last forever.

What a great sister and in-law you have been. This is a very difficult time for you all. Take time to rest, reflect and grieve. Staying busy is good, but don't let it interfere with being there emotionally, too! Love and hugs to you and your whole family during this sad (and busy!) time.

LD, that's a great way to be helping your brother and his kids out; a way that really counts. They can't handle the basics right now and probably won't be able to for a while. They might need you every now and then for some time to do the same kind of thing.

I hope that it's not too hard on you.

Well...she's been off her feeding tube two solid weeks now...and still hanging in there. Im sure the medical staff is starting to think she's a miracle of some kind. Everyone underestimated the strength of this lady's spirit.

But she is a Mormon and they have high hopes for what awaits them on the other side. She apparently isnt very eager to get there. Would rather stay with her children here in this imperfect world. :)

Perhaps while she has been in and out of her unconsciousness, she has died and come back a few times and saw what was there and perhaps it isnt what she was expecting? I wonder sometimes if Russell and Rutherford and the other GBers have found that out too?

I will let you guys know what happens. Thanks again for all your sweet messages of support.
