I have been using Sambucols black elderberry extract for the last four years. It has always either prevented a viral infection or knocked it out within two days. It also tastes really good and is easy to give to kids.

Hi Brooke,
I've been down with the bug since Saturday. It gets better for a bit then hits you again. It sucks ass! I've just been resting as best I can, drinking lots of fluids and sucking on throat lozenges for the cough.

Don't waste your time or money on Vitamins, they don't help.
Take a decongestant, (Pseudoephedrine works for me.)
Get lots of rest and you will be better soon.

There is a product called Airborne that really helps reduce the intensity and length of colds. Also try Sambucols Elderberry, it does the same thing.

Hot water,honey to sweeten, one of those cold powders dissolved (or aspirin or ibuprofen) in it and a SMALL amount of whisky or brandy and ideally a squeeze of fresh lemon
