**Break a leg. Oh wait, you already did that.** lol funny!!

I'm pretty tired from my big day today. The anesthetic block is really starting to wear off the my leg is feeling achy. Time to take my first pain pill. The doc said 24 hours and it's been about 27 hours since that injection. Not too bad.

I'm sort of dreading what tonight and tomorrow will bring.

I did some work from home and a couple of workmates came over at lunch to help me get downstairs and have a meal. They also filled my cold therapy pump with ice and water and carried it upstairs for me.

Sometimes such simple gestures mean the most. I am grateful to have friends.

Aude, Glad to hear the surgery went well. Take it easy, and do as the docs say.

You'll be up in no time, but don't rush it and re-injure yourself.

I have had knee probs but it was taken care of by one of those sickening shots into the knee cap.
