I'm normally a somewhat cynical person and tend to be annoyed by commercials....but the first time I saw this commercial, I dropped what I was doing and HAD to watch it. Then I HAD to get on the internet and find the extended version.

I don't know if it's the music, the color, or just the beauty of it all combined, but this is the only commercial that can bring tears to my eyes everytime I watch it.

Oh....and the song is ''Heartbeats'' by Jose Gonzales.

    Enjoy.

I didn't check out the commercial, but Jose Gonzales is awesome. Heartbeats is a great song. I'm always a little disappointed when they put seldom heard, excellent bands on commercials.

I guess they have to make a buck too though.

Lovely tune, that 'Heartbeats'. Nice ad too.

This here is one of mine, certainly in the top three. It's an Australian ad for Carlton beer, and it was on TV during my time in Oz last year, so loaded with good memories too.

    Hope that works.

Roger, that's one very big ad...

The Coca-Cola "Teach the World To Sing" ads are my favorite. This one is the Christmas one, not the origional, which is better...

    CIRCA 1960 -------

Mother and grown daughter in kitchen; daughter in obvious headachey pain, hovering over a steaming pot of ?:

Mom: "Don't you think it needs a little more salt?"

Daughter: "Mother, please! I'd rather do it myself!"

Narrator: "Sure, you have a headache, but don't take it out on your mother!"

Next scene: Having downed the requisite medicaments, mom and offspring are all singing and dancing. Smiles. Ah, the bark of the willow!
